You may make a donation through our DONATE button, financial portal. All financial donations are considered “General Programming:” the funds will be used for supplies, to pay for utilities, maintenance work, food, staffing and/or other programming expenses. We appreciate those who voluntarily assist us with financial and/or material donations. WE WILL NOT Contact Donors for future donations, and WE WILL NOT SHARE any contact information with any other organization, period. We accept that your donation was made for charitable reasons and motivations that are important, and private to, you as a donor. And although the Janzen House welcomes ongoing donations and support, we will respect each contribution as a single, important donation, made by free will, and will not seek to establish a pattern of on-going support.

Financial Donors may also request that their funds are utilized for specific purposes or targeted expenses. If this is the case please email (janzenhouseoffice@gmail.com) or call our office at 226-2271 so we can discuss the application of your donation.

The Janzen House provides many of its services to individuals confronting housing crisis and homelessness with the support of financial and material donations. The ongoing support of the community allows us to assist individuals who may currently be without any financial resources, and lacking the basic commodities that are necessary for daily living in an environment that is encouraging of progress.

DONATION OF GOODS:

We accept clothing, personal care items, bedding and towels, paper products, cleaners of all types, and food items. Items can be dropped off at our porch or if there are any questions about donations please call 226-2271. At times we cannot accept large donations of clothing, so please check if you have more than 2 bags of clothing. We will always take shoes, socks, T-shirts and blue jeans.

Financial donations (Check form) can be sent to The Janzen House, 146 West Spring Street, Marquette MI 49855. All financial donors will receive a receipt sent via mail.

You may indicate that you wish to remain “anonymous, or decline a receipt, but the Janzen House will always generate an official donation receipt for all financial donations as a non-profit accounting requirement even if you choose not to be credited by name or receive a copy
